Did you get it yet?

Have you gotten your dress? If I haven't already talked to you, I will be very soon. I'm contacting everyone this week to confirm the status of their dress order.  Angie would like all orders to be placed by the end of the month.  Again, I'll be making calls this week. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to discuss with them with me at that time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BRIDESMAID DRESSES

Please note that the bridesmaid dresses have changed. The new style is #808.  The designer is still Bill Levkoff.

While visiting DC this weekend, Angie made a trip to the bridal shop. After taking another look at the dresses, she decided to change to style #808.  

Our bride-to-be decided to make the change because this style better compliments her wedding dress. Now, we're all going to be extra, extra cooorrrrdinated!

Check out the photo. Our dresses will be black.  And, I saved the best news for last. These new dresses will be cheaper at a price of $184.  Woo Hoo!

 

 

                  

 

Angie found the one.

No, I'm not talking about Marc this time. I'm talking about her dress.  Angie found her wedding dress!!! She was visiting Tomeka (a fellow bridesmaid) in Tampa and they decided to go and look at wedding stuff.  That's when she saw the one. Just one glance and she was in tears. Yes, the dress made her cry.  

Who knew it would be so easy? She wasn't even looking that hard. I can't show you pictures or give you details  (Marc reads the blog) but Angie can.

This is one major item she can check off of her list. Now, we really have to step up and get our bridesmaid dresses.  I'm planning to go this weekend and take care of mine. I'll write and let you know what to expect. And, when you order your dress, please check your name in the "poll" to your right.  

Fay Fay Go Away!

It may never rain in Southern California...but it is coming down on the bride in Orlando. While she's getting washed away by tropical storm Fay, I thought we could help her and Marc choose their honeymoon destination. See the choices on the right and place your vote!

 

   

Bridesmaid Dresses

Ok, here's the long awaited dress information.

$193.00 a minimum of 50% is due when you place your order, the following amount is due when you pick up your dress.

All dresses will need to be ordered from Ann's Boutique in Burke, VA.  We are asking everyone to try and order their dress as soon as possible no later than October.  This is important because they will not place the official order until they've received individual orders from each bridesmaid. 

If you're able to go by the shop, they will measure you. Out of town folks will need to go to a local dress shop and get professionally measured. You'll need to provide Ann's with your bust, waist, hip and height measurements.  

 

Time to Dress You Up

NOTE: Our dresses will not look like this. Fortunately for all of us, Angie and Marc decided against the southern belle theme! We can forget the hats, gloves and fancy parasols...at least for now.

I will send specifics on ordering our dresses this weekend.  All of the dresses will need to be ordered from Ann's Boutique in Burke, VA. We are going to ask everyone to try and order their dress as soon as possible. This is important because the boutique will not order the dresses until all of the individual bridesmaid orders have been placed. 

I'll have more information about the boutique, payment, and scheduling this weekend.
